Too Nice?

I’m not one to get into trouble very often so I was a bit shocked to be scolded this morning. Its less than a week until exams and there’s a lot of studying going on. Which is why it is necessary to have notes to study off of. Unfortunately a few people in my World Issues class didn’t think to take them down so they came to me. Marked for Life

Many times in my life I have fallen or come into contact with an object that left a permanent mark on my body. Last summer I went on a hike with some friends. While walking down a steep pebble covered path I slipped and ended up with a fair sized pebble sticking out of my left knee. The summer before that, my sister and I collided while biking to school. I slid on the concrete road with my bike beneath me. (more…)

Holiday Blues

Christmas is a time of giving, a time of love, family, and laughter. At least thats the way I believe it should be. After all, didn’t God himself make it that way some two thousand years ago? He gave His only son, I’m sure you know the story, but some forget. Some get so caught up in their own lives that they lose sight of the real meaning of Christmas.
